I am Shin, 16 years old. I live in Japan with my mother, father and little sister. I love myself, my looks, my friends and my family. Today I’m going to a new shop to buy new clothes. I look around if there are any cool clothes, and there is a lot of them! I spot a cool pair of trousers, and I go to the dressing room to see if they fit. I lock the door and turn on the light. I take of my jeans and put on the trousers I picked. The light starts flashing, but I don’t care.
- The lamp is probably old..
I look at myself in the mirror. The trousers fits very well.
- I love myself.
I fix my hair, and just when I’m about to take them off the room gets pitch black. I start to get worried and try to control myself.
“I’m not afraid.. I’m definitely not afraid of the darkness!”
- Get me out of here!
I’m pounding on the door and scream, but no one seems to hear. I sit down on the floor and begin to desperately cry. Suddenly the mirror starts to shine. I stand up and look into the bright light. It’s blinding me and I step closer. The light flashes and when I open my eyes again I’m no longer in the changing room. I’m not in a room at all. I look around and see nothing but trees and flowers taller then myself. I spin around to see if there is someone I can ask for help, but it’s totally deserted. A breeze comes and I feel a funny smell. I look in the direction it comes from and I hold over my mouth so I can’t scream. I see a huge creature that looks down at me. It sniffs at me and looks right into my eyes. I go back a step and stumble over a tree root. I’m almost falling down over the cliff, but the creature saves me.
- Thanks..
I look more carefully at the creature.
- You’re kind of cute.
It snorts and spins around.
- You like me?
I don’t know why, but it feels like the creature smiles and nods.
- At least I like you. Want to be my friend?
I stretch out my hand to the creature and it puts it nose in my hand. It blows hot air at me and I laugh.
- You have a name? What is it?
It snorts again and wiggles it’s tail.
- Can I sit up?
It bows so I can climb up, and I do.
- Wow, you’re even huger from here! I’m glad I’m not afraid of heights too.
- There is no need to worry. I’m Eiji. Your friend.
- Oh my god? You said that?
- Yes I did. Surprised?
- Yeah.. Kind of..
- Why?
- I don’t know. I guess it’s because animals can’t talk in the world I am from.
- They can’t? What terrible world you live in!
- It’s not that bad actually. But there are wars in some places..
- It’s a war here too right now. I’m so glad you made it here in time.
- In time? What do you mean Eiji-san?
- Don’t you know? You are the saviour of this world.

I start to walk to the castle. I look around and I spot three white dragons flying over me.
- This is so unbelievable.. This is even better than my fantasy I had when I was younger.

I look at the man who said it. He is tall and have got long black hair that shimmers in blue and green. He is really handsome and I just got the feeling that he is the Lord. Or.. The cool clothes made me think that.. He smiles and shake my hand.
- I am Riku, the great Lords bodyguard. You must be the chosen one. I’m pleased to meet you.
Riku bows gently and take off his hat. I don’t get what’s happening, but I bow too.
- I almost thought that you were the Lord.
- Really? Why so?
- I’ve got easy to judge people based on their looks, and I just thought you looked kind of cool and handsome.. Are you mad?
- I’m not mad. I think it’s fun that you thought that I was the great Lord. Do you want to meet him?
- Good.. No I don’t, but Eiji-san told me I had to.
- Seriously?! Eiji-san?! You mean that huge dragon over there, right?
- Yes.. I do. What’s the deal?
- Well, even though you ARE the chosen one, I never thought that you would summon him! He is the beast of the underworld and even more powerful than all the mightiest dragons in this part of our world. It’s amazing! How did you do?
- I didn’t do anything. He came to me and saved my life when I almost fell down from the cliff.. But can you please tell me how he can be so powerful? He looks so innocent and he is so cute. How can he be that dangerous?
- How he can be so powerful?! All the dark magic that was in this world is put into him! And by the way, that’s not his original form.. No one but the Lord we had before this one has ever seen his original form. But he died..
- He didn’t tell me that part.. But I trust him. He doesn’t seem to have a dark heart.

I follow Riku inside the castle and I take a close look at all the décor around in it. Riku smiles and point at a sculpture.
- That was our first Lord. He died only two weeks after the ceremony. Or at least some say that he is dead, but I still believe that he is alive and will return to get his kingdom back. What do you think, Shin?

Riku opens a door and walk inside. I follow him and he shuts the door after me.
- The Lord will come soon. I cannot stay here, but call me when you’re done talking.

- Awesome..! It’s so beautiful!

I blush and nod fast. Riku goes through another door and when it’s closed it seems like it has disappeared. I look around in the room and I see a huge map. Probably a world map. It seems like that. The main entrance to de room opens and a man comes inside the room. I bow and he bows back.
- You must be the chosen one. I’m the Lord of this world and I’m glad to meet you in person.
- Yeah.. Thanks, the same.
- No need to thank me for being kind. Let me explain the rules of this GAME.
- GAME?
- That's right, GAME. The rules are rather simple.
The great Lord take a book from the bookshelf and opens it.
- After I've told you this, you have to read chapter 89.5 and 73.9 to get all information you need for taming your summoned beast. If you don't follow these instructions, you will definitely be dead within five hours or so.

Riku knocks and enters the room.

- Yes, in fact I did. And I'm glad that I did, because you would never have told me be yourself. Right?
- No I wouldn't...
- What are you two doing!? I am the Lord, you should listen to me!
I look at the Lord with a serious look on my face.
- You sound scared. How is it? Are you tired, or actually you may be scared that someone has figured out your plan to become the one and only that will rule this world. Am I right?
- I'll go to bed... Riku.
- No, I will not follow your orders any more. My new boss is Shin.
- I am what?
Riku laughs when the Lord walks out the room with the worlds angriest look on his face. I laugh a bit too, but then I look at Riku and try not to smile too much.
- I don't know how to thank you..
- This should be enough.
Riku takes one of my hands and gives me a kiss. My mind goes crazy and I can't separate reality from fantasy any more. I close my eyes and put my arm around his waist. He look deep inside my eyes and I blush. When I let go of him, he grabs my wrist and refuse to let me go anywhere. I blush even more and take a deep breath. I try to control my mind, but it's difficult in a time like this. Riku smiles and I try to smile back, but I end up laughing until it feels like I'm going to die.
- What's so funny?
I try to stand up, but I can't.
- J-Just wait a minute..!
Riku laughs a little cute laugh and sit down on a chair. I try to recover from my laugh attack, but it's hard. But when I finally recover I walk to a chair next to the one Riku sits on and sit down.

When I heard the wind whisper that you had arrived, I was sure that you would help me find a way out of here. I'm sure you want to return to your own world too. And when you said that your summoned best was Eiji-san, I was even more sure about it. My heart told me so, and my dad once said that you should only trust your heart and soul, and they will help you make the right decisions. I now know what he meant with it, and I wonder if you will offer to help me to get out of this place. I know it's a difficult task, but I just got the feeling that you will be able to do it. - It would be an honour to help you. But do you know if anyone ever has gotten out of here?
- My friend did, years ago. She said that sad and horrible times were coming to our world, and the next day when I walked to her house to talk with her, she had already left. No one other than I and all beasts knows about her, since it was around 121 years ago. But at the time this was a new story, some said that she didn't survive. Of course they couldn't know that, but they didn't want anyone else to leave this world. But as she said, the sad time came, and after that a horrible darkness spread into this world from another dimension. We sealed it in an egg that we found outside the sacred temple. We hoped that one day, that egg would disappear from this world. But it hatched. A little baby dragon came out of it, and he is now known as Eiji, the beast of the underground. We once sealed him in there, but when you arrived, the balance must have been cut, since you were her chosen master, and then he was able to come out from there. We watched over him from our part of the world every day, so he was never really alone down there. But he was sad. All he wanted was love and someone to care for him. Yuudai is the one and only creature that is stronger than Eiji-san, and I will not let his soul pure into mine and give him the opportunity to once again fill this world with thick and endless darkness. There must be a reason that his faith is in my hands. It must have a meaning! If he was meant to be free, his soul wouldn't be within my body. I believe that our Lord tries to figure out a way to lure him out of me and then join him to make the people here his slaves. I will die if Yuudai become alive, since he will steal my life that once kept him safe. The Lord doesn't care if I die, as long as Yuudai is set free. If that is my destiny to die because of that, then I will accept it. But if it is, I also know you will help me get out of it alive. The wind is whispering something once in a while. Like 'I just get the feeling that this is just the beginning of a darkness far greater than any danger we've seen before. Help us, help us before it's too late.' And these whispers are from all warriors, villagers and noble people that has died. They are warning us, Shin. We've got to help them before it's too late. My mother and father is also there, whispering the same things over and over again. 'Help us. Help us rest in peace. The darkness is getting closer, be aware, before it's too late. Riku hugs me and gives me a kiss on the cheek. I take is hand and pull him up from the chair. I take my hands and hides them in his long hair. It's soft as a ridiculously soft cat fur. I feel like I can rely on him and I'll put my heart and soul and my all to help him get out of this place alive.
- Let's get out of here. I don't really like to hang out in the Lords place.
I nod and refuse to let go of Rikus hand. He smiles and we begin to walk out of the castle. We walk straight out to Eiji-san that wiggles his tail when he sees me.
- Hello Eiji-san! This is our friend and personal trainer Riku.
- It's nice to meet you Riku. And I'm glad that you're both safe. But it feels like I've seen you somewhere before. May that be possible?
- It is possible. I was the one visiting you all the time during your time sealed in the underground.
- But that is a long time ago! How can you still look the same?
- I don't like to say it, but I unfortunately possess the power of Yuudai..
- Yuudai?! That explains everything. So you're the one that has saved me from being killed.
- Killed? Why would you be killed by Yuudai?
- He searches revenge for me taking his darkness for my own strength. I haven't met him, but even though he is sealed within you, he can talk through mind without you noticing. He has always been talking to me with his telepathic powers. The distance doesn't matter. He can talk with me from other dimensions too if he would be able to go there. Eiji bows so I can climb up. I stretch out my hand and Riku takes it. I pull him up and he sits down behind me.
- Hold on to me.
He nods and puts his arms around me. I smile and hold his hands with one of mine. Eiji stands up.
- Be careful, Eiji-san. We don't want to fall off.
- I'll do my best.
I hold on to his hair on his neck at the same time as I hold Rikus hands. He puts his head on my shoulder and smiles a little. He kisses my cheek and puts his legs around me too. He is like a monkey baby that is clanging onto his mother when she climbs up the tree.
- Are you afraid of heights Riku?
- No. Let's fly!
Eiji-san screams and jumps up in the air and start to fly. I feel that Riku is relaxed, which means that he isn't scared at all. And that's a relief for me. I let go of his hands and hold in Eijis hair with both my hands. Riku lies tight to my back so he can't fall off. I can feel his heartbeat. I also feel happiness. To be close to the person you love makes you feel happy and makes your body feel light as a feather. I smile and take a deep breath. The fresh air fills my lungs and I look down at the huge forest that is surrounding the kingdom. I see a strange building in the middle of the forest and it seems so nice, in some way.
- What place is that?
- That's the sacred temple that I told you about. Where we found your egg, Eiji-san.
I nod and Eiji just blows out hot air through his nose.
- We should go there. I want to show it to you, Shin.
I blush a little, even though I don't feel like it's embarrassing at all.
- I'll introduce you to our three Gods. Hachiro, the eight life-shadow that represents strength, hope and eternal life. He is the only life-shadow that has survived all the years since this world was created. Takara, she represents love, friendship and kindness. She has only lived for 796 years, but yet she is skilled at what she has to do. And at last, Sakurako, she is the last warrior God that is alive after all these wars. She represents all people that has died in war, and is the God that all the warriors gives most respect. This is our three mightiest Gods. Even known as 'The mighty dragon force'. And as you already know, they together can still not compare with Eiji-sans strength. And here in the temple, you will also get your sword. But it is no ordinary sword. This sword will evolve when your skill level improves. It's not a hard thing to do in the beginning, but it will be more challenging after four or five levels.
- Okay... I don't get this sword talk, but I would like to hear more about The mighty dragon force. It sounds very interesting. Do they ever show themselves even if they don't have to?
- There is a lot to talk about when it is about them. And I'm sure they show themselves for the people they trust. I've met Hachiro and Sakurako once. And that was when my mother died and I ran to her. Sakurako came because it's her job to take the dead warriors souls to the other side of this sky. Only she knows where that other side actually is. Hachiro came because of my fathers choice of passing over Yuudais powers to me and because to show give me strength and hope to survive forever without my parents beside me. Sure, I was 17. But I was so sad. They almost had to call for Takara so she could heal my physical damage. I needed love and kindness at that time. So you could call it a miracle that she didn't came. But I'm grateful that they did help me out. I just hope they are willing to help me again. And help you.
Riku lays his hand on my head and smiles.
- Turn around. It's easier to kiss you then.
- You really do love me.. Sure. Eiji-san, be careful now, okay?

I turn around and I look deep into Rikus eyes. He pats my head. I look away and blush.
- Hey, don't feel embarrassed. I think this is kind of crazy too. But I like odd things. And just so you know, just because I say this is crazy, doesn't mean that I don't want to continue doing it.
Riku gives me a long kiss and I take his hands and hold them as gentle as I can. After a little while, I let go of them and he gives me a hug. I hug him back and twin with his hair.
- You are the best that has happened to me in 135 years... I love you Shin.
- I love you too... But I haven't lived as long as you, so I can just say that you are the best that has happened in my whole life. If that sounds good enough..
- That sounds more than good enough.
We let go of each other and I blush again.

I turn around so I sit forward. I grab his hair and Riku holds on to me as hard as he can.

I feel that Riku is scared, and I don't blame him. I hold one of my hands over his and he relaxes a little bit. It's amazing how being near someone you love can make you feel safe. Eiji lands beside a huge rock and bow. Riku slides of and I jump down next to him. He smiles and takes my hand.
- Come on, you just have to meet them!
Riku starts running and I try to hang on, but I almost fall instead. He laughs and helps me to come in balance again. Running is not really up my street, but I continue anyway, just because it is Riku that holds my hand. We stop in front of the temple and I look carefully at it. I can’t wait to go inside. I think Riku figured out what I was thinking, because before I knew it, he drag me up the stairs. At the top, I lose my balance and fall.
- Are you okay?
I nod and stand op again. Riku opens the huge door and we go inside. I hold on to his arm and refuse to let go.
- It’s too dark in here…
- You don’t like darkness? Well that’s okay. Everyone is scared of something.
He pats my head gently and I feel warm inside and actually a little more relaxed.
- Are we there soon?
- The shrine is nearby, I can feel it.
- Does your heart say so?
- No. The movements in the air. Don’t you feel them?
- Yes.. I do feel some kind of movements. But I thought my mind was making fun of me because I am scared…
- You don’t have to be scared. This sacred place cannot contain any evil powers at all.

Riku smiles and drag his hand through my hair. It may be hard to believe it, but I let go of his arm. I feel some kind of rhythm in the air around us and I look around to see if I can find any doors.
- Where are we going to go?
- I don’t know… Stop for a while.
I stop and Riku starts to concentrate very much. I can see that in his face. He points in a direction and look serious when he looks that way.

He grabs my shirt and I follow him like a dog follows his master.
“Master.. That word really means a lot of things. I am Eiji-sans master, and master is also some kind of other word for boss. And Riku says that I’m his boss, which also means that I’m his master too? I don’t get this. It’s confusing. But I will always trust and follow Riku. Wherever he goes and whatever he says. He looks back on me and let go of my shirt. I shake my head and smile.

I suddenly stop and listen carefully. Riku looks at me and see my serious look. When he opens his mouth to talk, I put my hand over it and he shuts it. He starts to listen too, but he don't seem to hear anything.
- What is it Shin?

- Hear what? All I hear is the breeze from outside that has sneaked inside. What else do you hear?
- It sounds like.. Someone's breathing.
I look further in into the darkness and see something pink shimmer in there.
- Hey, Riku. Did you see that?
- See what? You make me worry a little... I told you that you have nothing to fear in here.
- That's the funny part, I don't get that scared feeling that you feel when you're scared.
- Okay... But what did you see?
- I don't know what it was, but it was a shimmering pink stripe that was moving far into this hallway.
- Pink? Oh my God, you must've seen Sakurako, she is black with a pink stripe. Did you see any eyes? Her eyes are pink too, so you should be able to tell if it was her eyes.
- I saw eyes, but not pink. I saw green and blue eyes...
- You're kidding? Then Hachiro and Takara must be here too. I guess they want to meet you. Let's not make them feel disappointed, come on. It's not far away now.
We enter a huge, open room that has no unnecessary things in it. I spot a shrine on a rock a little bit inside the room. Riku smiles and we walk to the shrine.
- This is it.
- Am I going to open it now?
- Yes. But before that, I'll tell you about it and its connection to our three Gods.
- I'd love to hear that story. Please start.
We go to a bench and sit down at it.
- Well, you see, this shrine is the sacred shrine of Megumi. Once, she was a very mighty God that blessed our world. She was the fourth dragon in The mighty dragon force, before she suddenly disappeared. The reason she disappeared was Yuudai. He was almost set free one time when my father possessed his powers. She saw no longer any hope, and escaped to another dimension. The last three dragons are now guarding this shrine until she hopefully will return. This shrine has the powers to see through a humans heart, see its weaknesses and give it a weapon that will fill these gaps. That weapon is not always a sword, but regarding to the legend, your is. BUT, you will also get a power, that even the legend has no information about more than that you will get it. It's exciting to be with you when you will get this unknown power. I'm honoured to be your boyfriend.
- Honoured you say.. The pleasure is all mine. But it's fun to hear about all these legends and stories that you have.
The shrine starts to shine and it feels like it's calling for me. I stand up and grab Rikus arm.
- Come. I feel that I'm ready to get my powers.
- Okay. I'm sure our Gods will come here too.
- Why are you so sure?
- The wind whispers that all over again.
- How can you hear their whispers in here? It's no wind in here at all.
- That's the funny part with being able to hear the winds whispers. You can always hear it. If you open your mind.
- Cool. Can I learn that too?
- There will be no problem. I will help you learn how to hear the whispers.

I hug him and we begin to go to the shrine. I stop one meter away from it and hear the same sound as I did in the hallway. I smile a little and Riku looks at me with huge eyes.
- They are here, aren't they?
